Lay Led GroupsCraft Group
The craft group meets monthly. We are a group that stays together for several reasons. The first and most important reason is the fond relationship that we have for others in the group. Many of us (both old and new members) have expressed the closeness and support that we
feel for and from each other.
The second reason that we meet is to raise money to buy things for the church. We have purchased the stove, the commercial refrigerator, the freezer and the dishwasher.
The third and most recent reason is the outreach project to help residents at the Lick Sr. Center. Several times a year a group of us go to the center, materials in hand, and present an activity to any resident who wishes to come.
During our meetings we make centerpieces or flower baskets to sell, plan and get ready for our visit to the center or just enjoy each other's company by going out to dinner. Anyone is welcome.
