Lay Led Groups Yard Sale

Saturday, July 12, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There will be bargains galore, as usual. Change your art work on the walls, the shutters on the windows, the glassware in your cupboards, and the jewelry on your arm.

Volunteers are needed for the same hours as donations are accepted. If you haven’t signed up yet, call Nancy Witaconis, 798-4601 cell or home 236-3945.

Donations may be brought to the church building:
Sunday, June 29th: after the service.
Monday, June 30th: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Tuesday through Thursday, July 1 - 3: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
No collection on Friday, July 4.
Saturday, July 5: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday, July 6: after church services.

Monday, July 7 - Friday July 11: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Please don’t wait until the last minute to bring donations. And do tell your family and friends about the bargains they will find.

Donation Information - keep in mind for the all Sales:

Items to donate include household items, toys, bikes, books, furniture, baby stuff, art, music, tools, lawn furniture, collectibles, dishes, games, pots and pans, linens, lamps, dishes, etc.

NOTE: Older baby furniture that could possibly have been “recalled” cannot be accepted!

We will accept children’s clothing, but we will NOT accept adult clothing.

We will accept WORKING computers, radios, telephones, answering machines, and so forth. If you bring these kinds of items, it would be a huge help if you attach a note that you have tested it before bringing it and that it works. If there is anything complicated about making an item work, include it in the note.

Please clean the items you donate. We can’t sell dirty things, and it is very time consuming to wash all these things. If each person brings CLEAN items, we can sell more things and make more money for the church.

DO NOT DONATE:

Broken electronics of any type.
Encyclopedias.
Console TVs
Curtain rods or Venetian blinds unless they are new & in the box
Glass canning jars
Adult clothing
Call before bringing large exercise equipment – we might not be able to accept it

The yard sale also needs volunteers to be at the church to set up tables for the sale, for intake of items, to sort stuff, price items, work the day of the sale as a cashier or in other ways, to pack up the remainder items, and to clean up.

We’ll make flyers for you to put up in one of your local hangouts, library, coffee shop, etc. Invite your neighbors and friends. Anyone who comes to our yard sale wants to come back again!

The yard sale has always been a successful fundraiser so please consider donating items and or time to help make it a success this year.

Yard Sale DANGER: Anything left in the COMMON Room is in serious danger of being sold at the yard sale. TAKE YOUR THINGS HOME or find a safe storage place for them when donations start to arrive. This is not a joke! We've sold things before that were left unattended. When Yard Sale notices start to appear, take heed!
