Our Ministry:
Religious Growth and Learning for Children & Youth

Service Projects

We model our principles in our service projects and encourage everyone to participate. The youth and the R.E. Committee select projects, with input from members. Information is provided throughout the year. Some traditional service projects in our program yearly include working on the UCH-adopted section of the Greenbelt twice a year, collecting items for a designated cause through our Giving Tree in December, and a Unitarian Universalist Service Committee sponsored program, Guest at Your Table, and collection the ongoing collection of food for the food bank and food pantry.

The lay-led ministries of the church lead dozens of social action and social justice opportunities throughout the year. Families are encouraged to put faith into action by participating together as a family and church community in any of the intergenerational opportunities.
