Sunday Morning Classes

Arrival and Departure

From mid-September through mid-June, classes are offered from 9:15 to10:30 and 11:00 to 12:15. Children and youth are encouraged to go to their classroom before the service begins. Teachers are in the room preparing for the morning activity and available to talk to parents and visitors. The teachers escort the children and youth up to the sanctuary five minutes before the service begins, usually sitting in the front of the sanctuary for the opening rituals and leaving together at the appropriate time. Children arriving after the class has gone to the sanctuary may join their classmates in the front rows or sit with their family.

Parents and guardians are welcome to enjoy refreshments and conversation following the service. Classes continue for 15 minutes after the service. At the designated time, or when the teacher opens the door, please come to the classroom and see what has been happening! Please reinforce the lesson by talking to your child/ren about it. Parents and guardians are encouraged to come in and hear about the topics that have been discussed. The topic of the day is posted on the classroom door. Parents and guardians are welcome in the classroom to observe.

High School programming is only offered during the 11:00 service. Please read more about activities and opportunities for youth under Youth Programs. Programming for all other grade levels are offered during each service.
Child care is offered from 9:00 to 12:15.
